You might have experienced that urge before, the sense that there's so much more to explore beyond just climbing the corporate ladder. As you’re starting out in your career, you’re picking things up quickly and making great strides, but there’s still that feeling that something is missing. Perhaps it’s a persistent idea that keeps popping into your mind, or an increasing longing for freedom, impact, or ownership.
The idea of entrepreneurship is absolutely thrilling! However, figuring out the perfect time to take that leap can certainly feel challenging. Are you wondering if it’s too early? Should you hold off until you gain more experience, save a bit more, or feel more certain? The truth is that there’s really no absolutely ideal moment to begin your journey. But don’t worry, there are some clear signs that show you’re ready to make that exciting jump!
Let’s dive into those signals together and discover how to catch your moment before it slips away. Here’s what to keep an eye out for!

You're ready to take the leap! No more waiting for permission. You’ve gathered the knowledge, witnessed enough, and you genuinely believe in your idea, which gives you the confidence to step forward. When that little voice of hesitation transforms into a strong desire to take action, you know you’re on the brink of something amazing.
You’ve identified a persistent problem that resonates deeply with you. Remember, entrepreneurs don’t just chase ideas; they focus on solutions. You’ve noticed a gap; something that’s broken and frustrates you, and it keeps popping up in your mind, even when you wish it would go away. That’s more than just curiosity; that's your purpose calling out to you.
You feel ready, both mentally and financially. This doesn’t mean you have an endless bank account; it means you’re aware of the sacrifices you might need to make. Are you prepared to live more simply for a bit? Can you take on freelance gigs or part-time jobs? Most importantly, are you ready to face both the highs and lows, determined to push through regardless?
You’re okay with the possibility of failing in front of others. Remember, entrepreneurship is a humbling journey. You’ll pitch ideas that don’t resonate, and you might create things that don’t take off. But the lessons you’ll learn from those experiences will far surpass what any textbook can provide. If you can embrace the idea of being wrong and learning in real-time, you’ve already gained a significant advantage.
You have faith in yourself to stay steady on this path. You’ve developed a sense of discipline, enabling you to lead yourself effectively before leading others. You show up, even when the initial excitement dims. Entrepreneurship is less about those quick moments of inspiration and more about the power of consistency and clarity.
You understand your "why." You’re driven by more than just money or fame; perhaps it's about the impact you can make, the independence you seek, or the desire to prove something to yourself or create something valuable for your community. That kind of “why” gives you the unstoppable energy to keep moving forward.
My Personal Adventure
I didn’t wait until I had all the answers. I started when the questions became too loud to ignore. What motivated me wasn’t a perfect plan or the promise of success; it was a deep, personal discomfort with watching opportunities slip away. It was the fire that ignited every time I saw a problem no one was addressing. It was the late nights spent wondering if I was destined for something more.
I started five companies. The first three failed, but I succeeded with two. I questioned myself more times than I can count, but with each setback, I got back up, not because I had to, but because something inside me wouldn’t settle for less.
The sacrifice wasn’t easy. I missed out on comfort, stability, and the kind of predictability most people chase. I invested time, energy, and passion into ventures that didn’t always pay off. But I learned, I grew, and I strengthened where necessary, while remaining gentle where it mattered most.
And now, the reward is sufficient, not just in terms of results, but also in perspective. In knowing that I walked through the fire and emerged with clarity. I have built something that reflects who I am and what I believe in.
At Strada&Co, I have the joy of collaborating with outstanding individuals who share a similar calling. Some are young, some are seasoned, some are technical, and some are creative. Yet, all are eager to take responsibility for shaping their future.
If you’re reading this and feel a little spark inside, now’s an excellent time to start tuning in to yourself. Don’t let the worry of feeling unprepared stop you from becoming who you’re truly meant to be. Remember, the right time is all about your inner readiness, not what others think.
And when that beautiful moment comes, don't hesitate to take that first step. We’ll be right here, excited to walk alongside you on this fantastic journey.
